The three divers are seen in a cage as the deadly beast approaches, while another set of people film from a different cage.
It swims within inches of the people before giving them the surprise of their lives.
With a quick squirm of its tail, the shark lets out a massive cloud of yellowy poo.
The shark continues to swim around the cage, continuing to let it all out.
Finally, its bowels are emptied but the creature still isn’t finished with the divers.
As if their days weren’t worse enough, the shark then seems to try and get into the cage from the top.
It takes a few bites at the railings, but soon gives up and swims away.
The yellow gunk still floats about, leaving a gentle reminder of the terrifying – and disgusting – encounter.
The video was uploaded to video-sharing site eBaum’s World and has been seen more than 16,000 times.
It is not clear where exactly the video was filmed.
Remarkably, it is not the first time such an incident has occurred.
Another diver was swimming behind a 20ft shark when he also was on the end of the beast’s excrement.
