This is the moment a Florida free diver and photographer had a “Jaws”-dropping encounter with a massive bull shark off the coast of Florida.

John Moore, 55, was diving near Jupiter earlier this month when he snapped the giant female predator and her razor-sharp teeth, Caters News reported.

“She was an abnormally large female. Very likely pregnant and certainly hadn’t skipped any meals,” he said. “She was a very dominant shark, confidently coming right up to me throughout our dive.”

Moore described his close encounter in a series of posts on Instagram.
“Up close and personal inspection of the very impressive serrated teeth of a large female Bull shark,” he wrote. “A fish had grabbed the chunk of bait and run toward me for cover, before getting scared and dropping the chunk.”

He added: “This set me up for a shot that’s even too close for my 20mm lens.’

In another post, he wrote that the beast “was so fat that her profile was practically a triangle when she swam at us. … Absolute beauty.”

Some experts consider the species the most dangerous sharks to humans because the can migrate up rivers and are known for their nasty disposition to boot, the outlet reported.
